Where to Sleep

We received word that there is another wedding in Norwich on the 4th, so if you are super organized and on top of it we have started to set aside some options for hotels.

1. Norwich Inn (www.norwichinn.com)
Closest hotel to wedding and reception. Unfortunately, the Norwich Inn is nearly full, with four rooms available for Friday 9/3 and one room available for Saturday 9/4 as of 6/21/2010.  Mention the Sheldon Torrance wedding if you make reservations. This is also the likely location of informal brunching/lunching/lounging the Sunday after the wedding.

2. Hampton Inn, White River Junction VT (http://www.whiteriverhampton.com/)
More economical option near Norwich. Mention the September 4th wedding and receive 15% off. Call 802-296-2800 to make a reservation.

3. Fairfield Inn & Suites (Marriot), White River Junction VT (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/lebfi-fairfield-inn-and-suites-white-river-junction/)
Another wallet friendly option near Norwich. Mention the Sheldon/Torrance wedding and receive 15% off. Call 802-291-9911 to make a reservation with the discount.
**For those who made reservations at the Comfort Inn: A few weeks ago they were renamed Fairfield Inn and Suites.  Apart from name and maybe décor there do not seem to have been any changes, and existing reservations are unaffected. You should have received an e-mail notification from Fairfield. If you did not receive an e-mail, please contact Fairfield to confirm your reservation.

4. Hanover Inn (http://www.hanoverinn.com/)
Second most convenient but a little more expensive. Easy access to downtown Hanover, NH with several bars and restaurants. Hanover is about a 10 minute drive from Norwich.

5. Trumball House (http://www.trumbullhouse.com/)
We know nothing about this place, but it is an option and it looks pretty.

We will be providing a shuttle from the reception to the Norwich Inn, the Hampton and the Fairfield (a.k.a Comfort Inn). The Fairfield and Hampton are right next to each other in case you are coordinating with other guests.

Thanks!

  2. Hi Sarah!!! Ask Aaron if he knows of a good campground in the area. We are bringing the BIG coach. Can't wait. We should be in the Vermont area in August to do some touring. Love you, Aunt Chris and Uncle Alex
