Attire
The reception will be outside on the Sheldon's lawn. Before sunset, temperatures could range between 80 and 60, and could drop into the 50s at night. If the weather should be wet we will stay under the tent, but the ground is still likely to be a bit damp. You might want an umbrella in your luggage, just in case.
Men: Coat and tie or summer suit; or some reasonable variation thereon.
Ladies: We highly encourage you to wear flats or wedges if possible. There is a moderate walk from the driveway to the actual tent and the lawn will be a challenge for those in heels. A limited number of flip-flops will be available for those that cannot compromise on footwear :) Summer dresses or other garden party attire is perfect. Please be sure if bring a shawl or cardigan with you for later in the evening.

Directions to the Sheldon Home and Shuttle Information
Directions to the Sheldon House, at 388 New Boston Road:
This google link will give you a picture of the property, from which you can get directions.View Larger Map
Non-internet directions from the Norwich Inn: drive NORTH on MAIN Street, away from Dan and Whit's/Hanover/I-91. After .4 MILES turn LEFT on TURNPIKE Road (if you start going up a steep hill you've gone too far). After 1 MILE take the first RIGHT on NEW BOSTON Road. After 1.2 MILES the house will be on the RIGHT (if you start going downhill you've gone too far). It is visible below the road, and has stained wood clapboard siding and a standing-seam gray metal roof. The driveway is a 180 degree turn immediately past the house.
Transportation to the ceremony and reception:
On Saturday 9/4, we will provide shuttles from the Hampton and the Fairfield (a.k.a Comfort Inn) to the ceremony, and from the ceremony to the reception at the Sheldon house. The shuttles will return guests from the house back to the Norwich Inn and the Fairfield/Hampton Inns throughout the evening. Parking at the Sheldon house is limited, so even if you live in the area you can park around the Norwich Green (across from the church and the Norwich Inn) and take a shuttle back later.
